Face Recognition Based Attendance System

In colleges, universities, organizations, schools, and offices, taking attendance is an important tasks that must be done on a daily basis. The majority of the time, it manually, such as by calling name or roll number. goal this project to create Face Recognition-based system will turn manual process into automated one making our task easy. This meets requirements for bringing modernization way handled, well criteria time management. device installed in classroom, where student's information, name, number, class, section, photographs, trained also available teachers staff attendance. images are extracted using Open CV library python. Before start corresponding student can approach machine, which begin pictures comparing them qualified dataset. image processed follows: first, faces identified Haarcascade classifier, then recognized LBPH (Local Binary Pattern Histogram) Algorithm, histogram data checked against established dataset, automatically labels An Excel sheet developed, updated every hour with information from respective class instructor.
